On January 21, IFC will air the first episode of “Portlandia”, the new sketch comedy series from Fred Armisten (of SNL fame) and Carrie Brownstein (of Sleater-Kinney fame). While this wasn’t the actual source of my idea for a Portlandia blog, it did help convince me to get it going and stop waiting around. So, I thank them for that. Also, it looks pretty darn hilarious.
